MattUK said: I have been wondering the same thing. My boss has "never seen the point" of Prince (!) but would be interested in listening to a compilation to persuade him otherwise.
He (my boss) is predominantly into acoustic female singer songwriters though so making him listen to Sexual Suicide, Days of Wild, Hide da Bone etc is likely to "confirm his worst fears" about Prince! Aside from playing him The Truth and some ONAL tracks (Xenophobia, I Wanna B Your Lover, Avalanche) what else should I select? Try the ONA piano solo CD..."Pearls B4 The Swine", "A Case Of U", "U're Gonna C Me", etc. Also, you might try some songs from "The Vault" CD. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I love to make Mix CD's for my friends, the most recent is a compilation of sex songs for my best friend Amy.
I was wondering what Prince would think of us giving away mixes of his music, Especially after saying bootleggers are not fans. Do you actually have to sell his music w/o giving him a cut to be a bootlegger? Or do you think he appreciates us sharing his music with our friends? I don't want to step on any toes, ya know! LOL!
