The 1994 version of "Love.... Thy Will Be Done" with the live drums (sounds like Michael B) and Sonny T on lead vocals is easily the best version of this song.... the only way it could be better would be with Prince on lead. This is how it should have sounded originally, with those searing guitars on the chorus.
The "Prince Mix" of Martika's one with the hip-hop drum break is good too. |

Sonny T vocal version is monster groove,there is a few version with Prince on lead vox ,slow and rock versions,also on concerts Prince performed the song in a rock style | |

Sonny T is the reason I cannot listen to most alternate Exodus era stuff. With 'Love....The Will Be Done' it's the same - lovin the band - tight as - but he's an adequate singer at best imo. | |

Nope, never should have toched that song again after the orignal version where the music fits the lyrics so much better. | |
