i never cared too much for this one, or for "private joy" for that matter. i'd listen to

them when i put the controversy album on but i didn't really like either.

until 2 days ago when i was listening to random prince songs on my new computer,

with the headphones plugged in.

not sure if the sound is really greatly improved by my new computer or the really

hard volume i played it at, but "private joy" was a revelation to me at that time.

so i'm sure that "private joy" is about to follow.

i love it when you 'rediscover' old songs on albums that you already listened to for

at least a thousand times.

cool

A similiar thing happenned to me last year playing the "I wish U Heaven" video on my pc with headphones, was the first time I ever heard the apple been bitten. I was shocked that it took me 20+ years to notice that.

If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

I like it, it's catchy and fun. Although, the catchiness can be a bad thing.

One time my wife and I were walking round the shops with my son who was 5 at the time.

Wife: "what's that he's humming"

Me: "Errr... Jack U Off"

boxed lol

my boys aged 4 and 8 go around singing darling nicki!!! Hearing "thank you for a funky time" coming out of the mouths of my children is oh so wrong, but i love that they know ALOT of Prince's music. Training your kids to have good taste in music is crucial!!!! lol lol

Oh, Yay for jack you offxxx
