Prince's rapping skillz I think........
Some of his raps weren't that great: Sticky Like Glue- "It was the coolest movie evaah, the one we saw last night. The closer you got to me the less we saw, alright." -___- Laydown Arrogance Love 2 The 9's
While others sounded as if he were an ACTUAL rap artist: The P 18 and Over P Control Face Down (Ouuhh he must've been pissed when he wrote that!) Pope Mr. Goodnight
^Those raps are much better than most of the CRAP thats on the radio 2day!!!
What do you think about P's rapping? From the vineyards of Lavaux back 2 the heart of Minnesota. U R was, and will 4ever B The Purple Yoda....

His rap verse on "incense and candles" was nice. He's not a bad "rapper". He proved he can actually do it all. I just think that the "incense and candles" verse was by far his best. I've let several friends hear that track and we constantly play it back.

I think Prince is a man of many talents, but rapping isn't one of them, he should stick to shredding that guitar like a motherfucker!!!

He stated sometime after the release of "Emancipation" in the Musician magazine that he doesn't rap or consider himself a rapper. He compared his approach to James Brown's, half-singing / half-speaking.
Not that his vocal delivery on some of the TGE era cuts like "Days Of Wild" wouldn't be flawless.

I like his rapping. Not a big fan of "Dead on It" though.
