It's absoutely slamming at the end of Private Joy, I have no idea why he added sex noises and added it on the end of Come. Must have been to piss Warner Bros. off. I certainly hope it was, either that or he was trying to avant garde or some bucrap artistic statement

I always wondered if this song was Prince's way of embarassing Vanity (Deniece),since she had just become born-again around this time? In the credits,the female is identified as "she knows".

I wouldn't think so though, by all accounts Prince seems very respectful of other people's religious beliefs. I'd guess he just wanted to use it for the track, and left her off the credits for legal/commercial/personal reasons (mixture or pick one).

I always dug the end of "Private Joy" just for that guitar solo. Totally unexpected and it reminds me of Hendrix.

Worst thing on one of his best, and one of my personal favorite albums.

It's like he refused to release a perfect album...

It's not sexy...imo this just made the whole album sound cheap

I don't mind it. Kinda fun to listen to that guitar solo in isolation.

Unfortunately, the slurps 'n' burps on the title track give us a clue Prince probably thought it was erotic.

I woke up from a dream thinking about this song last week and the guitar solo within this song. I still remember when me and my uncle bought the Come cd the day of its release in august of 1994 at north georgia compact disc.

I love the moaning and the carrying on and Prince saying I love you and then the cd ends abruptly.......

I sent a guitar solo that I recorded on my cellphone and my friend told me that it reminded him of this song.

Prince used her vocals on this song so that she would receive some performance royalties from sales of the album.

Ooh! That's nice of him, then.

Another case of assuming bad motives, then turns out he had good motives.

Makes sense he did it for her sake, since he could always get a female to moan on a record there was no need to recycle Vanity's voice.
