On danish Tv2 this morning the host Morten Resen and 2 guests were making a review if the new album by Smashing Pumpkins (and also the new Bieber album, also released today, haha..).

Anyway, during the review, suddenly he, Morten Resen, made a surprisingly negative reference to Prince - said something like:

"look how it all went weird for Prince: now he is too weird, not releasing albums anymore and you may not be allowed to buy them, and difficult to download" --- loosely translated by me.

I don't understand what's weird about his comment...people hardly knew about 20ten or Planet earth. so for the public it's like he isn't releasing albums. People know him for his concerts, but not for his latest record.

I don't see anything in the translation that is untrue.

If Prince releases an album, it MIGHT be for sale in your country. At a newsstand. Or possibly at the cosmetics counter of your local department store. But most likely only on eBay. And not on iTunes or Amazon.

"Weird" is all relative. What's weird to you is normal for another.
