What's Next?

I have to admit that after the Ice Cream Castles/Thumbs-Up/Menards banter, I'm a bit perplexed by that recent spate of activity surrounding the Welcome2Australia tour.

It seemed like something big was going to happen and then.....nothing, in the fog.

I know the tour is slated to begin at the end of this week but surely there must be some word -- someone knows something! It feels a little, anti-climatic?

he's probably received advance payment. If you want to kill a project/ any promotional activity, pay Prince in advance. He'll be in 'CONtractual obligation bare minimum' mode now.
blah blah blah

Imagine a collection of jams such as the ones he released recently... a couple hours flexing the classics... titled "Ready 4 Australia"... artwork made up of photos from the rehearsals... a digital release... 10 dollars...

The production would be so cheap, since he already has all the material I just mentioned, and he would certainly get my money.

going on what he said in the newspaper email interview, i think all you should be expecting

from the australian tour is a hits concert. he hasn't been in australia in a long time and he's

pretty much gonna play his hits, which is logical.

since he knows there will be many die hards at his shows as well, he'll throw in a few little

gems. much like he did during the 20Ten european tour.

perhaps he's replaced those the time 'covers' with a few other songs that he wrote and now

feels like jamming on himself (like dance electric etc).

for the casual fans and the people just buying a ticket to see what all the fuss is about with

prince, it will no doubt be a great show. for the diehards waiting online to download it once

it hits the net, i'm sure there will be a few songs from every show that stand out and are

'new' to the setlists.

beyond that, pretty much gonna be 20Ten/W2A part 2.

and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

That would be nice, I'd love to have the video.

Well, if this Mystic Meg supplement from the News Of The World from about 1989 is anything to go by:

Madonna is a wizened old hag and Prince will have taken on a much more mature role such as the President Of The United States Of America. With a monocle.

Good old Mystic Meg.
