Keyboard sound during 1997-1998 tours

Since the early day Prince always had 2 keyboard players when he was playing live. But when he ditched Tommy ,Morris Hayes was the only keyboard player in the band.So what do you think of Morris H. Role as the only keyboardist.I never thought he was a charismatic player and during Jam of the Year Rave era k concerts keyboards sounded way old school, all songs were filled with organ and gone were the synts.

Prince does like to hang on to him during those tours. He must have brought something to the noise.

He did the keyboard parts very simply, but i think the main thing about those tours watch prince, dancing and jumping on pianos and looking glorious. Do me baby had some amazing organ work on it though, but a lot was added in and programmed. I would die 4 u for example, the drum machine, with the band playing around the sample. And Face down is another good example.

If I remember correctly in that era Kip Blackshire also played keyboards apart from singing,so Morris wasn' t the only Keyboard player in the band
