I must confess I listen to Prince... 90% of the time I listen to music, which is about 3-4 hours out of the day.
Am I the only one like this? I don't know. I don't care either, I love his music so much, and the fact that his music is so broad (covers all music types that I like) helps. Don't get me wrong I listen to other music, but a lot of it is rehashed, already been done, sounds like someone else ect. Plus I own over Prince 200 albums, so I have a lot to choose from. And I don't have to hear the same albums over and over like other artists. But I still listen to my favs like TRC, ATWIAD, Parade, Dream Factory (visual echo version), and the City Lights series all the time. I thank god (and Prince) every day the fact Prince has recorded so much material, and so much of it is sooo good. RIAA 'nuff said. You know, I think I would but no I don't. It actually surprises me. I think my wife is, but she doesn't complain. No, I don't get tired of Prince's music. RIAA 'nuff said. "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

I'm basically the same way Chookalana and have been since 1983.
I'm finding I turn Prince off more now than ever before, but his music still reaches me more than anyone else's. I guess I get tired of Prince music, but it never lasts. I'm firmly planted in denial

I've been listening to everything BUT Prince lately. I'm just not in the mood right now. And I do get sick of him myself, but also because I've heard everything a million times already. I have to take a break so it sounds fresh later. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

I doubt very seriously you're the only one like that on this site. Me personally, I go thru phases, and I haven't been in a Prince phase in a looong time. Now, if some of his old cds had been remastered (and remastered well) I'd be gone. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Not by a long shot. I work mostly 10 hour days and guess who I listen to 90% of the time while I'm at work? (answer goes here) Now guess who I listen to 90% of the time when I get home? (answer goes here) If you answered Prince to both questions, you're right! If you answered Prince to only 1 of the 2 questions, then you're a little slow. If you did NOT answer Prince to either question, then you're an idiot.

I listen to Prince about 65-75% of the time, I never get tired of him, I just have too much music-if that makes any sense. Even though he's my fav artist, I like to listen to a variety of music, but then I always end up finishing out the day with Prince.
For example: right now I'm listening to Billy Idol, but an hour from now I'll probably be listening to P. [This message was edited Sat Mar 8 18:10:59 PST 2003 by lovebizzare] ~KiKi
