If that's true, it means Prince only has ONE Grammy as a solo artist.

no, he gave her the oscar he won.

Prince only let Wendy hold that Oscar for a little bit. He took it back years ago. Prince's Oscar is sitting in a display case at Paisley Park.

I wouldn't get my panties all up in a bunch about how little recognition Prince gets from the Grammys. I mean, these are the people who named Milli Vanilli as their "Best New Artists".
Feel better now?

To the Grammy people who gave Norah Jones eight damn Grammys for one album, where were they when Prince made Sign O' The Times and Lovesexy 'cause those albums should've gotten 10 Grammys altogether. nod

I really don't think that's accurate. He won 3 Grammys during the 1985 telecast of the show alone (27th annual show). So it has to be more than that.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Co-sign on that. The rock female category is so weak that Sheryl Crow rules it. The industry could really use a new rock female artist.

Not another half-naked junior diva like Britney, Christina, Shakira etc. I mean a real artist. Avril Lavigne is being pushed as a rock female artist, but it's all phony marketing.

So Prince has 2 solo Grammies and 2 as part of a group.

I wonder if only 1 Grammy was handed out to Prince and the Revolution, or if each member of the group got their own Grammy?
