Remind you of anything? [img:$uid]http://www.wintersilks.com/productimages/banners/20120222/sanddollarspecials.jpg[/img:$uid] We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

That was exactly my reaction when I saw it.
And then, I said, "Well, shit - this has to be posted at the org." We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Was going to ask what this thread is about, but a quick Org search for "sand dollar" did the trick.

^ likewise
I can only begin to imagine what 'that' thread was like to experience back then ...just reading the synopsis by orgers is funny enough!
If the original long-ass thread exists (couldn't find it during initial org search) could someone please repost as I'm sad enough to wanna read it [Edited 5/5/12 11:04am]

The .org's "Sand Dollar" period, was sad, dark, pathetic and at times funny as hell. Those of us that survived have not seen its like since. I'm firmly planted in denial
