u're my love kenny rogers

anyone else heard the kenny rogers track u're my love?

it's the one that prince wrote for his 1985 album they don't make em like they used to..

a great pop tune and haven't been able to find a prince version of the song. i assume it was given to kenny around the same time that sheena and kenny recorded the bob seager hit we got tonight, since prince was hanging with sheena, and probably was hanging around the gambler too.. lol

kinda makes u wanna be a fly on the wall in that room..

sheena(HOE) kenny (oversexed country western singer) and of course...Prince (nuff said)

seriously tho,
would like everyone else's input on this song, as it is one of my faves..

also what about the idea of other country artists wanting to work with Prince, such as wynona, and garth brooks(who used Prince as an inspiration for the whole chris gaines album)

I love that Garth Brooks song, "Lost In You".

Bonnie Raitt is slightly Country too at times and she has also been tapped by the Purple Stick.

This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

lost in you was written by babyface, but clearly a prince inspired track, and driftin away certainly sounds like a princely ballad.

I'd love to see Bonnie and Prince sit down with a tune together.. Make it blues with Bonnie's slide guitar.
