I was getting ready 2 undertake my 2nd Annual Prince Cleanse, when it occurred 2 me to do in sync with Lent this year. It gives it a more definite structure. Last year I started at around this same time, and forbade myself listening 2 any Prince music, or visiting Prince.org for what was to be around 30 days. Ultimately, I made it thru about 3 weeks.

This year, despite not being a practicing Catholic for like 12 or 15 years, I'm doing it at Lent. Same deal -- no music, no org.

I found that the time away last year really deepened my appreciation for the music -- and what I treat that I went from my P-tox straight into the ONA show in L.A.

So after 2day, it's 40 days away.
