Which of these landmark concerts in Prince's career do you think made him most nervous, considering what was riding on each of them?

1. When he got his big break opening for the Rolling Stones.

2. Opening concert for the PR tour - the film had created massive expectation.

3. The Superbowl performance - a huge audience plus a chance to show many that he'd still 'got it'.

I say #2, though personally I would say #3 if compounded by the fact that it was raining and that throws a wrench into your stageplan and complicates matters potentially. (And he still knocked it out of the park.)

probably? Its popular lore/legend that they booed him off etc. First day it was only a few idiots in front. The second day folks spread the news and the audience egged more of it on. Threw food etc. Prince left.

Someone in my class never let me forget that Prince got boo'ed opening for them at the Coliseum.

I doubt Prince has had issues with nerves since that Rolling Stones tour. After he survived touring America dressed like a mannequin in a sex shop for transvestites it was really all downhill.
