nursev	So...No Midwest tour huh W2A is just not complete Not even one stop near Texas I wonder if the tour will be over after Australia?

That type of stuff doesn't even surprise me anymore; EVERYbody skips over the Midwest. *shrug*

I really don't care because you can always get on YouTube and watch that stuff for free in your drawls at home, anyway.

I suspect not. The hashtag they are using for this tour on Twitter is #PrinceW2 which suggests to me that they want a uniform tag that works, regardless of the destination (W2A, W2C, W2Aus, etc...) and surely they wouldn't have started that on the last leg of the tour?

Although, this *is* Prince, so maybe wink

But given all the doubling back he's doing in Australia alone (ie. Syd-Melb-Bris-?-Bris-Melb), hopefully he'll finally double-back and finish the US tour later in your summer.

I suspect he might do a show in Japan or other Asian countries. Maybe even the PRC, assuming the censors are okay with his current setlist.

RodeoSchro	When someone doesn't play a major part of America for going on 8 years, it makes it hard to diss bootleg concert recordings. Seems to me the smart thing would be to market your concert recordings yourself.

I have a feeling he will hit at least a few midwest cities...he has always shown love for Detroit, Chicago, NOLA, and other Midwest cities. He'll make it...one must have faith right? wink

I just saw Bruce Springsteen in Detroit, and it's funny how much Prince might have pulled from the Springsteen concert experience (probably more from what he saw in the 70's and early 80's). there are some incredible similarities with a Prince show as far as concert structure and gimmicks to bond with the audience.
