album - if I were trapped on a desert Island with nothing but sand, sea, starvation and delerium, i'd want to believe there was joy around the corner and i would come back as Prince."Come" is probably one of the least popular official WB albums having 'flopped' commercially and selling only around 500k copies.
It's my favourite overall album for sure. What I like about it is the integration of the songs. Not a single bad song imo. I especially like Papa but my favourite is "Solo". Listening to the harp strums over and over the wonderful articulation of the words with his falsetto voice totally mesmerising. Haunting and utterly beautiful. So many articulations and the range gigantic. Nothing else like it. I love the "I feel like I'm going insane....." line 
A total masterpiece. RIP Prince 1958-1993... a prophetic attribution imo. The last album from the Prince I was an enchanted fan of. | |

Emancipation for some..????
I am surprised, Emancipation - one of my least fave albums, actually the 1st disappointing Prince album for me - since I became a fan in 83.

Being stuck on an island with nothing but Lovesexy to listen to would be torture to me..
I picked Emancipation due to the length of the album.. with only a few songs I don't like, it'd be hard for me to tire of..
Out of the 1980s albums, I'd pick 1999.

I was originally going to say Around The World In A Day... but I have to admit Lovesymbol is probably my fave album and I enjoy listening to 'The Morning Papers' and 'Blue Light' way too much. | |

You know this is such a hard question to answer.
While Lovesexy is ultimately my favorite album, I don't know if it qualifies as being played on a dessert island. Haha..Well it does qualify because it's Lovesexy! Haha..I think I would have to go with..
"One Nite Alone'..I would listen to that at night. During the day, I would go for...LOVESEXY!
