fDeluxe to share Prince's gift soon! Saw on fDeluxe's Facebook page that they got another email from Prince to share what he sent them! It also alluded to them opening up for him in Australia! Pretty cool! If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in! | |

There's only one thing for it then.
"gotta Stop messin about" and have The Family open for you. Ma'fact...always have a royal kingdom band as opener be it Sheila, The Time. Andre, etc etc. You and I and the rest of us are all getting too old for anything else anymore. Everything has been proven...the record company battles, the comebacks, the legacy. Call me naive, but last year with those two associate acts reuniting, I had this idea that they would open for Prince in a triple threat show. (Even if he screwed both regarding their names.)

A bit more info, thanks to Neil Richards, who just posted this on the offical tour Facebook page:
"Weirdly Fdeluxe (who were put together by Prince and are managed by me) received an email from Prince's camp a few days ago. We weren't sure what to make of it at first - it was 2 songs Paul Peterson had been involved in - but it appears as if they were giving us our own sneak preview. While we can't share it - thats up to them to do so - we did say we would spread the word about what we heard and say to my fellow Aussies this is show that shouldn't be missed . BTW, anyone who knows me knows that myself, my team and Prince and his team don't always see eye to eye but without prejudice I can say what i heard was very clever and extremely funky!"

I really tried with this one (obviously), but it's moments like this that I get really over it...
...I don't mind the chase, tbh, I just grow weary of the constant red herrings, particularly when something that we clearly want is dangled right in front of us, only to be yanked away.

Reportedly Terry Lewis contacted Prince about opening up for him in Austrailia so who know what's going to happen. It seems there are surprises in store for the fans. Makes me hope whatever they've put together makes it's way back to the States. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

I think Prince has always been worried of it all becoming like a oldies reunion tour, but with all his satellites bands (Time, Family and a little bit Revolution) doing new stuff maybe Prince's fears are mellowing a bit. | |

Yes yes...except on the Revolution, if we're just talking the band itself and no Prince involvement.
Their setlist pretty much, random scoop here and there, is what Prince plays as among his greatest hits these days.
