Do you think Prince will reintroduce songs we think he would never play?

With this requests thing going on dr.funkberry do you think Prince will play again songs like Head,Dirty Mind and other racy stuff.

i know he avoided those jams but on requests

page it wasn't anounced

that some of the songs can't be performed.

Prince isn't stupid maybe sample medley he did on

the last few tour was to see how would people react on some jams like Darling Nikki and others.

Those 3? Nah

Although he might be able to re-jig Gett Off without too much effort:

"23 positions in a marriage night" or whatever.

My pipe dream would be to hear Erotic City live again...with Sheila on stage too.

Despite its reputation, it actually wouldn't be all that difficult to clean that song up lyrically to make it agreeable to Prince now, much in the same way that DMSR was. Still, I doubt it will happen. That day has passed. But I can hope.

If Prince were to ask my advice on how to make this song work for him today, I would say that it's really all about the music for this song, and all he would really need to worry about is the bass line, the "oh-oh-wohs," and maybe just having people sing the title of the song. For reference, I would point out the 1984 birthday show, minus those filthy, filthy words--he could sing just the bare minimum of lyrics (and honestly, the less the better if he's going to really clean them up) but leave the music intact and I would be a happy clam.

He won't so we all need to get over it. There are some songs given their "perceptive lyrics" he's not going to plaay certain songs. As he said in interview: "You got the record, partner, so play it."

Why can't he just do what he suggested for Sheila in the first place (as she didn't want to swear) & have himself also replace 'fuck' with 'funk' then we'll all be happy lol

Why not just use the Rave Un2 The Year 2000 version... "23 Scriptues in a one night stand"? Problem is, he has issues with the 2nd verse as well..

Lots of musicians have a phase in their career when they avoid certain songs.Donna Summer retired Love To Love You Baby during her religious phase but she play it regulary now.Maybe Prince got over his phase of non performing some songs.I think Prince will suprise us with some choices and letting fans suggest what they want to hear is a sign in a good direction
