Considering this is ONE of my favorite albums EVER..I shall Rank AND RATE...(While trying to NOT go into a tangent..lol )
Well let's just get the ratings out the way...EVERY SONG IS 10/10 for me. lol
As far as what I think is my favorite from top to bottom....
1. Glam Slam = This is one of the first songs, that made me admire Prince as a artist. I never heard anything like it. It's Glam Slam! A song that has always touched me in ways more than one. It is such a beautiful song! Very Dreamy!
2. Alphabet Street = (This Is Not Music, This Is A Trip) Is the definitive version of this song! However the album version is just as great. The title in general is so clever and unique! "Excuse me baby, I don't mean to be rude, but tonight, I ain't in the mode so if you don't mind, could we just watch?" Such an awesome line! Such a funky system!
3. Eye No = JUST THE BEST OPENER! SO FUNKY! "Listen to me people, I got a story to tell!" A perfect narrative to announce what is to come. I know there is a heaven and a hell!
4. I Wish U Heaven = Such an honest, and beautifully produced song!
5. Dance On - JUST TOO MUCH! I can't! These type of 'experiments' makes me nuts!'
.....I really can't rate these songs from the best...I tried..but it's impossible. It's just LOVESEXY! I can't really tell you why I can't..It's ALL one track anyways..SO...LOVESEXY IS NUMBER 1 HAHA It's Button Therapy, Baby! | |

1. When 2 R In Love - Can't even put in words how beautiful this track is, it's an absolute masterpiece

all tracks 10/10 except for Alphabet Street (Part 2 ruins the song for me) - 7/10 and Dance On (cool groove, weak lyrics and chorus fail to match the rest of the song ) - 5/10 | |
