I don't think that this is a real/proper soundboard recording. Not like the ones we are used to. The artwork for this release (Sabotages Sound & Vision 11) states it is "Predominantly recorded fr Ida Neilsens mic transmission to the soundboard."

I have not heard such a recording before, but my guess is that is similar to the "in ear monitor" recordings that float around.

Good news if last years shows were your kind of thing.

As for the method of recording.....it sounds kinda , I don't know ....WRONG to say it is soundboard.

If it is from Ida's mic the recording comes from then, it means it's very similar to an audience recording without the noisy b*)!h who can't sing, screcching her way through a concert beside the recorder!!!

Those in the know may think otherwise..Opinion??

I have no idea how this recording will sound. I have heard a couple of in ear monitor recordings from other artists and they sounded good, not as good as a dedicated soundboard though. No idea what this method of recording sounds like though.

I guess we will find out soon enough.

Apparently S&V 12 will be out on the same date as 11.

I have to say I'm intrigued....but not excited, just wondering how it fits in Sab's Sound & Visiongrouping of recordings.....but who am I to question these things!

I totally undestand his reasons for the setlists other than the covers.
