Mj's version is good(if you get the chance check out Sting's version also), Young MJ also did "People Make The World Go Round". He was bad in his younger days.

I can't think of ONE MJ song that would sound right coming out of P lol Anything so right for MJ seems so wrong for Prince... disbelief

DD is the MJ song that Prince could sing and play on guitar that wouldn't be embarassing
Oh I forgot with MJ Haters that His Catelog is So Embarassing to Cover?? OH My!!! that's why Prince last Year was trying to Play "Billie Jean" on Stage oh but that was To Embarassign for the Mighty Prince?? MJ truly Can't Win.not in here at least.all I did was use the Song "In The Closet" at using a Meaning&how it could have worked.but I'll wave the MJ Flag&Stop now,

chill.

DIRTY DEEDS by AC/DC. The lyrics ooze Prince. If I didn`t know better I would say that he wrote this song. Even though he would have only been 13 at the time.
My DC Direct wishlist: 1) Bane, 2) Prof Zoom, 3) Superman Blue, 4) Kilowag, 5) Parasite

"Whip Appeal" kicks ASS!! I remember grooving to the entire Babyface 'Tender Lover' album back in '89.There isn't a bad song anywhere on that record.Side 2 is simply amazing...

"Intro: Where Will You Go"
"Whip Appeal"
"Soon As I Get Home"
"Given A Chance"
"Sunshine"
"Where Will You Go"

"Sunshine" was the other killer slow jam! But all the songs are cool.

Nah. The reason How Does It Feel was popular was because of the video. Seriously, how many people actually know the lyrics to the song? This was all about D'Angelo being naked and getting a blow job (allegedly) in the video.

Mj's version is a'ight. He was still a kid so I couldn't buy that he was feelin' those lyrics.

Now Sting has a couple of versions that are nice. One with Jeff Beck and one with David Sanborn. The Sanborn one kicks, but he kinda drags the I know, I know ..part out too much. Other than the original, Prince's version is my personal favorite.

G Michaels Freeek is more Trent Reznor NIN than Prince imho.
I can see TTD writing Wishing Well as a Prince tribute.."erotic imag-es float thru my brain" is Princes When Doves Cry imagery with the stress of the word "images" like Prince stresed syllables wrong with the word "side-ways" in Little Red Corvette.

You need to remove the Sly Stone song..if anything that influeced Prince aka Camille, not the other way around.

Um yeah RD, that's why I said either inspired by him OR influenced him. I was just sort of free-associating, I guess.
