I'm probably being a bit thick, but is there a full version without a fade-up circulating? Is that what you mean?

I ended up recreating an intro for my own use, because I love the song so much.

Yeah, the full version is circulating. The first version I ever heard, and the one I had for years, begins in the middle of the first verse (I think around "I've been here for a while"). But there's one out there that starts from the beginning.

It's on The Work, Vol. 4. It might be on other boots, too.

Yeah they have no information on that track. Doesnt seem like it was intended for any album.

It is one of my favorites however.

I may have to see that copy of 30 years O funk.

I understand why Prince didn't release this track.
