Damn what's up with every1 hating 'My Little Pill"

I love that song, It may b only like 2 minutes long, but I put it in the same category of other short Prince favorites like:

I Wonder U
Tangerine
Had U (Damn that was nice!!!)
Ronnie Talk 2 Russia

cuz "my little pill" is vomitrocious™, it stinx, it smells, and it's just plain bad.

because he was "trying" to make the song fit with the context of the film. I let it slide. But, in all honesty. But song is pure assjuice.

As far as "My Little Pill" goes, his voice just sounds a bit odd and dorky in it. But I like the instrumentation at the end where it starts to fade off. I'd like to hear a long version of it.

I saw the movie "I'll Do Anything" and don't see where this song and its bizzare lyrics would fit in anywhere. They must have trimmed those scenes out, lol.

Whats really confusing is how in the heck did they get Prince to devote so much time to this project when the movie sucked? Tim Burton mentioned in an interview he had to pressure and hound Prince to do Batman.

Everyone is entiteld to their own opinion.

Musically, it's an interesting basis for a full-fledged song, but doesn't do anything in this less-than-2-minutes cut!

Lyrically, its pure shite!!! Ok, the "pixies" line is kind of quirky, but the rest is just arse.

Tom - interesting quote from Mr Burton, there seems to be a number of stories circulating regarding Prince's involvement with the project. I read before that Prince was dying to do the soundtrack, even cancelling his much touted time-off after Lovesexy. I also recall seeing that Prince was asked because of the joint love for his music that both Burton and Nicholson had. Also that Nicholson loves Prince so much, he insisted he get to meet Prince. That Burton showed Prince a rough-cut of the film and Prince came back to him just 7 days later with most of the tracks recorded! That Prince was so interested in the project, he wanted a starring role, perhaps even Batman himself (ok, that was a tabloid story, but what the heck!).

Which reminds me of another tabloid story around that time - The Sun, world-leader in printing shite, reported that Prince had his own Batcave and had taken to sleeping upside-down!!!
