Hallucination Rain ♥ How could i have forgotten about this one? Was my favorite when the Exodus album was released. This track is brilliant to me! Feels like listening to the Doors...And I love Prince's voice making the echo to Sonny T's in the album version. I love the long version too.

Completely fantastic! Amazing recording, deep, deep bass, electric violin solo is sublime and Mike B beats the hell out of those skins towards the climactic scream, which is also brilliantly executed. A fave of mine - I wish there were more in this vein (pun intended) ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

This is a really excellent song. The electric violin solo is fantastic.
Speaking of which, this is the only Prince song with electric violin, right? IIRC, Vanessa Mae only plays acoustic violin on "Xpectation". |

Exodus is fantastic.
The only 2 songs I don't like is this Hallucination Rain and also Cherry Cherry.
That voice on H R is soo bad, and Cherry Cherry is just too sugary sweet.
