The UK's Kiran Sharma nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year…

Prince's manager, Kiran Sharma, has been nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year in the Asian Woman of Achievement Awards 2012.

Sharma is owner and Managing Director of artist management and booking agency KIKIT Entertainment, which works with a host of international stars, including Nicole Scherzinger, Annie Lennox and Bryan Ferry - as well as the Purple Rain legend.

“The Asian Woman of Achievement Awards is such an important platform for British Asian women and I am hugely honoured to be shortlisted alongside such exceptional ladies,” said Sharma.

Sharma’s shortlisting in the Entrepreneur category represents her remarkable achievements in developing KIKIT Entertainment into a multi-million pound business within six years, and establishing it as one of the industry’s most important resources for artist management, brand partnerships, tours and private bookings.

Her success has also allowed her to become actively involved in a number of charities, including Arms Around The Child, and a respected figure in the mainstream music industry.

Over its 13-year history, the AWA Awards have recognised, and provided a platform for Asian female pioneers and championed the contribution made by Asian women across British business, sports, public, cultural, community and political life.

I think the label is used losely. She's there when he calls. She handles all of the multitude of things he has no time or patience for and he writes her a check.

bryan ferry even had a heart attack and is still playing live, and in the last few months has done so as a solo artist and front of his band roxy music who reformed again. he releasd a new album at the end of 2010 and is dating a woman that's 36 years younger than him. no wonder he had a heart attack. if i was his age and dating a woman 36 years younger then i wouldn't be touring

I stand by my comment. It is completely accurate in the sense that this woman is undeserving of any sort of award for acheivement.
