I have been listening to all the Lovesexy shows/aftershows/rehearsals and outtakes of late and they still sound good. The first half of the main shows are still a bit of a hotch potch with snippets of songs being played here there and everywhere, but what a great band they were, and what a sheer spectacle Lovesxy was. The aftershows are golden too and the rehearsals really sound like Prince and band were having fun despite the hard and often monotonous nature of rehearsals. The Lovesexy tour as we know is very well catered for in terms of unofficial material and gave us a handful of the best soundboard recordings I have ever heard. A Blu-Ray of the Dortmund show would be sweet though. Maybe one day.
A great period in his career.

Oddly enough, my first Prince concert was Lovesexy and my first live boot as well. (I passed on the Purple Rain Tour-could have gone. But nah.). I had never heard of boots from live concerts, so when this guy gave it to me-I was like wow, I went to this concert!! LoveSexy.
The Nude Tour (I've always loved the name, especially from Prince) is amazing, but LoveSexy Tour is probably his finest hour. That wasn't even really a concert, it was more of a...what's the way to word it...I'll say theatrical performance. LoveSexy was just amazing. "I never want to stop singing this song!"
