They are more lavender in color but are very beutiful, I bought some for a friend one time, the base of the rose flower itself is silver in color and about a quater of the way up on the petal it turns light purple or lavender.

They are unbelievably beutiful and can sometimes be a little difficult to find because they only grow at certain times of the year if I remember correctly.

Florists tend to make life a bit easier with dye.
