DAMN, this is spooky, considering that I replied to this thread today...

A friend of mine who's a theater student has to act out 3 scenes from a movie for his class...He decided to do "UTCM" and wants me to come in and play his Mary Sharon since I have theater experience, and know the movie so well!!!

Under The Cherry Moon

Hey folks,
i think "under the cherry moon" is a very underestimated
movie. In my opinion its far better than "purple rain".

What is your favourite-scene from "under the cherry moon"??

The movie takes place on the French Riviera...Nice, I think.

I love the part when he is rolling up to Mrs Wellington's house and spots Issac's car. He does this cute little stamp of his foot and trots over in those heels to look at it.

I like the scene where he gets into Isaac's car and takes a look at the picture in the driving licence. That face expression is great!

And WRECKA STOW of course...

I may have brought this up before, but has anyone noticed during Girls and Boys scene when Prince takes off his jacket they reverse it. I think that's pretty neat and kinda subtle.

My all time FAVORITE scene is when he gives Mary the "eyes" for the first time at her birthday party OMG he makes me melt!!!

Oh, i wish i would be there 2 see that!!!

My faves are...

* the opening sequence with Christopher's beautiful piano playing and Tricky's notes ("now give her the eyes").

* Chris and Mary Sharon's waltz to "Alexa De Paris" (I love the dialogue in this scene).

* the shopping spree synced to "Love or $."

* the "Mountains" vid at the end.

I really do love this movie. And one day it'll get its due
and be seen as the screwball classic it is.

this is kinda bad, but the way prince falls when he gets shot is hilarious. I put it on loop on my DVD and watched it over and over and died laughing...

*When Chris and Mary see each other for the first time. His looks are to die for.

*When he finishes fighting with Mary after she's on the phone with her fiance and he does this little shudder sound. I fell laughing at that part. Its so Prince.

*How Chris looks at his hand when he get thrown out of the party.

*The bats at the resurant. "I aint scared of shit." Haha.

So yeah that's basically my FAVORITE movie. I dont care about the acting really. The fact that this was Prince showing a different side to him was what I loved. The music is fantastic and its just a fun film.
