Man its a bummer that the original version of that song never got a proper release. It took a couple of listens for me to really appericate it's beauty but now i think its one of the better unreleased songs prince was involved in. Its not so much the vocals but the music. The music is beautiful. It kinda remindes me of the beautiful ones. Where do you guys think that song rates among the ureleased stuff ?

When you say "original version" are you talking about the 1979 version with Gayle Chapman on lead vocals? Because that's the "true" original version. Or are you talking about the 1987 demo with Prince doing the vocals before he gave the song to Mica Paris?
