This concert is great. This is where he was starting to play his music with a more new wave/rock edge. Cause the albums were alot softer. He made The album Prince sound like it could have been an extension of Dirty Mind almost. Still Waiting is EPIC, and if you listen to Beck with Debra, you'll get where he's got his attitude from, and what he tries to emulate. Beck is not being inspired by Prince on that song, he is being Prince with a little less vocal control. The Omni in Atlanta 1980 is one of the recordings I've been listening to lately. And is very inspiring!

Is that the pink/blue covered CD in the City Lights set? Haven't heard that in years. Prob. should give them a spin since they've been remastered. Kinda makes my original set obsolete, it cost a bit too.
