E Vegas! I've developed this nasty habit recently of saying 'E Vegas' when I'm parting company, leaving a room or just getting the hell outta somewhere. Vegas on the C doesn't have the same ring to it. Any Prince tics you got that just crept up on you? Somebody get me a mirror!

What is that exactly. Just a simple call sign for a way to close out a song...I've always wondered why Vegas and why is it usually in e....dies he still do this?. I haven't noticed as of late.

The key is just Prince's key of choice, but "Vegas" refers to the bombastic, grandiose end to the song hearkening back to Elvis, Liberace, and other cheezy Vegas performers.

He's been known to just shout LAS VEGAS! and the band hoping they all end in the same key though it'd be fun to hear them all end in random keys. Somebody get me a mirror!

In those cases they're ending in the key of the song they just played so it's not random at all.
