Purple Rain Talent Show Hey guys! Okay, so im doing "Purple Rain" for a few upcoming talent shows... and people say im pretty good. But people dont know Prince music like TRUE Prince fans... So, can you watch this video of me rehersing, and tell me what you think? I encourage ideas and tips on how to make the solo better... im not too worried about the singing... because the"Talent" im showing is supposed to be the guitar playing... Watch it please, and give some feedback(: Thanks Guysss!
(Also, i KNOW the svideo quality sucks, and the sound couldnt get any worse.. haha! But you get the point!

and i'll take a ganderI liked it.
My only concern when I see people cover Prince is that they try to match his mannerisms. We all know that only Prince can pull that off.
Other than that...thumbs up from me. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I watched this earlier.
Stop the Prince posturing, it's not cool and makes you look like a dick.
As for the guitar, I think the vocals were better, there were a couple of points where you sounded like you were playing a couple of seconds ahead of the backing track. But what do I know? You play better than I can right now.
