Yes, pretty strong album. Thought it better than Musicology. I like "Beautiful Loved & Blessed." "Get on the Boat," "The Word." Took me a while to appreciate "The Dance." It's actually good, but still not one I'd play over and over. Agree that with a young, "hot" artist, it would have done much better. But that's true for albums by a lot of good/great older artists - the music biz is agist.

I'll always take the time to give love to this album. One of my most favorite. I dig the (literal) sound of the record and the way he used the keyboards. I mean, he's always a master when it comes to the keyboards, but there's something particular about the way he captured them here. | |
