Yes this must be one of his greatest unreleased songs. It's so hypnotising, it takes you on a colourful journey. Ah the slowed down part is so cool when you're outthere!! I'm still hoping it will someday pop up on a vault release!!! "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

There were once two friends who became hypnotised by Prince in 1988 and as we gathered and garnerned together all that was Princely from 1978 onwards, alright 1976/77 including Minneapolis Genius... etc - we came across a song called In All My Dreams. I went into raptures. My friend stopped liking Prince. It is that divisive.
I can still remember me and my mate, at school, ears pressed to the common room speakers trying to listen to a god awful bootleg of the Black Album - I can still remember the fanfare with which that album was carried into the room by a casual Prince fan, not even one of us....
...I still remember the look of distaste on my mates face when we listened to In All My Dreams for the first time. It makes me sad.

RicoN said: is there a version available where someone has speeded up the bit that needs playing at 'double speed'? I thought about that. Luckily I just got this song on a rare vinyl 45. I'm sick and tired of making plans without making up my mind, teacher teacher can't u see I just need a little time.

It's very Beatle-esque circa 1966-1967. Very Paul McCartney in it's use of the radio speaker voice, and general surreal, childlike mood.
(check out parts of "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey" or "Baby You're a Rich Man" or "You Know My Name Look Up the Number")
It's also got a super funky snare tone (sounds like the strainer is loose) almost like a tom drum. And those angelic vocals by Wendy and Lisa (maybe more Lisa?). My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid
