That's not to say it'll sell for that much.

I don't think there was a 1994 long box (I could be wrong) so doesn't that in itself prove it's from 1987? We need an expert to verify... There can't be many of these around... I love long boxes.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I didn't think there was a CD pressed for this in 1987 - only vinyl? Can anyone confirm?

Yes there were cd copies pressed for the 1987 release, how many and how many escaped the re-call I do not know.
As for the long box, i'm quite sure that a long box was not available for the re-release in 1994, but i'm not 100% on that one.
