I often thought he was mad at her stage diving & maybe he didn't know she was gonna do it. He does look pretty miffed though. However, on the topic of this performance of Peach: when he really gets into jammin his guitar after the last "ooowwweeee" and his whole body, head to toe is funking that riff & guitar? I have to tell ya, THAT is one of the most sexiest things I have ever seen in my entire life. Period. | |

I was there that night , anyone who's seen prince live a number of times could tell he was not in a good mood that night! I dont think mayte stage diving had anything 2 do with his mood tho as he didn't seem in a good mood right from the start of the gig. When it comes 2 mayte stage diving I always think of that awards show (mtv?) where she hit the floor! Threw a bit of a strop & then got back onstage with a massive bruise on her butt! All the while P pretended he didn't see it happen! A pretty cool stage dive. I love the way she looks at Prince then shrugs her shoulders as if to say "fuck it" before she dives in. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
