Computer Blue and Lets Go Crazy are tied. Even though I don't quite understand exactly what Computer Blue is about...the song is just so amazing. I find myself listening to both songs as I leave my house at 4AM to walk to work in the pitch dark. Even though I live in a somewhat bad area, am a young female, and have head phones in so someone could easily attack me - I still play those songs as loud as possible and feel like i'm in another world when they play. We only live once White, Black, Puertorican, everybody justa freakkkkkin'!

'The Beautiful Ones' and 'Computer Blue' - why oh why doesn't he play the latter anymore?
On a side note, watching this film recently after a long time it struck me how ridiculous P looked in those clothes. He tries to play it as if it''s totally normal for a guy to be wandering around 'the hood' looking like a lost extra from the set of 'Amadeus' (he tries to be a badass like in some James Dean film but dresses not unlike somebody from Culture Club - it's just ridiculous!. I laughed my arse off when he was described as Kermit the Frog on a harley. I like the part when he dresses like a guy who is genuinely in turmoil like when he was in his tank top and eating Doritos - it makes the whole movie more believable and adds more pathos to the story.
Before anybody reminds me that he did, in fact, go around Minneapolis back in the day dressed in his Uptown get-up, in my opinion it simply detracts from the guy's story and most importantly his music, which he always says is his main focus. Nowadays, his music comes before the look, which suits me fine.

Purple Rain is my favorite. I also get bored with Computer blue. I don't always listen to music. But when I do, I prefer Prince.

That's 1 he could only do withthe Revolution
I've only like hearing the Beautiful Ones performed in 1984/85 Even the version he did with Misty was just watered down, there was no layers to it

agreed, when he performs the Beautiful Ones now it doesnt seem to have as much emotion as back in 84/85 the feeling U get when U fall in love not with a girl or a boy but with the heavens above

My absolute favorites are Computer Blue and I Would Die 4 U. No questions asked.

hmmm. I m gonna go with Puple rain as far as the movie goes (I still like the emotion and drama that came with the performance/scene). As far as the soundtrack, im going with when doves cry all day every day Most things that I worry about, never happen anyway
