I can listen to Modernaire with a Purple Rain era playlist or a Purple Rain movie playlist

It's not something I'm excited about listening to by itself

I do like the sound of it during it's club scene in the movie, that steamy background sound

I think if the sons was more 'exciting' we would need to see a longer performance of it

I'm with theDance though I love all of them, wish Wednesday was included

The segment they are jamming is actually from the unreleased longer version (Just before the "Na Na Na Na Na, raise your hands in the air" if you know that version).

You can also here it in some of the 84/85 versions.

I am listening to a 5:41 version right now and you are indeed right. I did not realize it.

caus fink was jammin so heavily over the groove. he played that version on the purple rain tour

alot. Computer blue probably my favorite Prince rocker.

I love The Beautiful Ones that scenes amazing how at the end of the performance he's on the floor, really effective, I also love Computer Blue/Darling Nikki the way how he plays guitar in Computer Blue is mesmerising makes me laugh how at the end of Darling Nikki he storms off stage dunno why but it humors me In all Purple Rain was & still is an amazing album

He storms off because he's angry at Apollonia, that song being an attack at her.

If someone did actually pull his pants down I dont think Prince would be to bothered

Possessed the instrumental song that played in the background when Morris and Apples talked shortly before Prince and the Revolution did Beautiful Ones. It took me years to find that joint. If there is going to be some 30 year anniversary release they should release that version and I hate the other version of Possessed when it was slow down version and had Prince's singing.

I love Computer Blue and Lets Go Crazy.

Most exciting one in the movie is the opening "Let's Go Crazy". I like the extended performance with all the edits introducing the setting and the characters and how it jumps around in time. I like Prince doing his robot bends aerobics and his scream before stomping the keys.

The most boring song in the movie is "When Doves Cry" and it's not because of the song, it's just used in a way that is really boring and doesn't do "When Doves Cry" justice.

Don't get me wrong, "When Doves Cry" is the strongest song on the album.

The Beautiful One's and Purple Rain are my two main favorite songs on Purple Rain the movie (and soundtrack, for that matter.)

I used to be a fan of Take Me With U, but for some reason, I'm just bored with it now.

I love Darling Nikki. But it sure makes my girlfriend give me a glance every now and then.

And, to be honest, this is one thing that pisses me off about women. They want the dickheads. But that's off topic. Anyway...

My favorite scene in the movie is right after his dad shoots himself and he's in the basement, and he finally plays the tape that Wendy and Lisa gave him and listens to it. Just the way it's done, I don't know, but I feel a little emotion in that scene.
