On the basis of what I've heard from this woman so far, I'm not impressed. At least my assessment is actually based on something. shrug

nonsense, many on here are just jaded with his piss poor output. Funky + prince on record no longer belong with each other. We've heard this crap teaser nonsense before only to be disapointed with the released product. If it's just Andy then fair enough, if it's P and it's amazing then I'll be obviously pleased......but very, very surprised.

No, it doesn't. There are plenty of ways to listen to something without paying for what might be a dubious privilege. Hell...even the old school record store I go to for physical copies of music lets me listen before I buy.

What it really means is that he's willing to lay down his money before deciding if it's horrible. Great, if you have money to burn, but I don't think it's the route most people take.

My own personal opinion sticks - Not impressed so far and Andy 'live'- - don't even get me started!

Nothing Allo has released with Prince has even got me semi hard!

I don't buy stuff I aint never checked out -that's just common sense!

The 'Superconductor' snippet hasn't changed my mind either.

If her album is good of course I'll buy it but its looking unlikely if the snippet and recent history is anything to go by.

wink

let's hope studio work sound better than her live performances that we have heard so far.

thank god they can improve a lot in the studio, I don't understand why he always wants to make his sweethearts his protege's .

But this girl is very smart think she is much more clever then everyone thinks she is playing him, believe me.

A compliment is just as much of a judgment as an insult is.

he is 53 she can have a every man her own age she is very beautiful and say it again very clever.

but that doesn't make a her a bad person just smart.

There's nothing wrong about me buying before listening. I don't know why people are getting on my case about that. Me buying this CD before listening doesn't make me a hypocrite, it's makes me a supporter of Andy and Prince and I like surprises. You making assumptions makes YOU sound ignorant.

Some of you are embarrassing, regardless of point of view. You just sound like lifeless obsessives. It's just music....chill lol.

Anyway, it's pretty much confirmed now that Andy will be releasing her album follow up on NPG records and that Prince is most likely involved highly, thanks to that teaser posted by United1878 that is being ignored in favour of childsplay.

I'm happy for Andy and Prince regardless of what my opinion will be of the product. It's fantastic that they share it with us and that Prince is helping out someone he thought worth it.

I guess compassion is less exciting than hate.

Sample sounds good, I'm intrested if only for the fact that he never releases these projects without doing a full album of his own.

Also I do like the acoustic stuff she's been posting

Anyone seen this tweet today from Andy Allo??? Could this be new Prince material?!

Just heard her new song, honestly it sounds like Controversy :/ I miss hearing HER songs, her songs now just sound like remakes of Princes songs. But, I'm gonna give it a shot and hopefully it delivers!

Why can't he do a full on project with Sheila? Or someone else of stature that's been established? In the past 7 years or so we got Tamar (poor Steve Martin had to pronounce that awkwardly on SNL), Bria Valente, and now a one...Andy Allovera. Prince quit boolshittin and do a project with some purple

He has more fun with the the young ladies.. Besides he's already done what he did for Sheila already, he gets to sculpt her an image, her music, a personae all to his liking. Thats harder to do with older chicks. The younger ones are like semi-blank slates that he can mold into the art of his chosing.

I get your point but before the internet we fans burnt plenty of cash on crap sounding vinyl & CD bootlegs(as well as every protege burp that got pressed for release) for over 20 years. In that regard buying one CD without any reservations be it ill or good won't kill anyones budget.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
