Do the CDs look different than the ones we already have? If so, can you post pictures? Are the matrix numbers the same?

Such a bargain, it's ridiculous. I might pop by, and buy a ten or so just for the fun of it. I remember when each album were like 3 times higher than this price here...years ago.

I said this topic should've been a sticky, or people would keep making new threads about it.

But if Lovesexy is tracked, I might buy this since it's so cheap.. I don't have a tracked Lovesexy, and I don't own Purple Rain on CD.

Sorry, i cant post pictures but i will try to discribe the differences.

At first i have to say ... i think they look great! The colors are fresh as if the cds were just released

For me the papersleeves looks great, like little vinyl-versions of the albums!

The differences to the released version are not that big: Lets start with D& P

Frontcover has the cool blue Picture of prince with the ladies (like the original)

On the backcover u can find the the poem which includes the tracks ( like the original )

the Cd itself looks like the original, but it has Purple WB and PaisleyPark logos on it

Purple Rain-Front Cover - looks like the original

On The backcover u can find the tracks and a poem which starts with the dig if u will the picture...

the CD looks a little bit different to the relesead one..(Different letters ...)

Parade looks like the orignal

Lovesexy looks also like the original but IT IS TRACKED (Thats really great )

1999 Frontcover looks like the orignal

Backcover is blue without any pictures. The used color for the tracklist and other infos is red!

The CD looks almost like the original!

Soundwise...I will check it in the next days...As i said before, they sound like the originals, maybe a little bit louder..but i am not sure!

Thanks for the information. If you have a Mac, you can use XLD to determine the peak levels for each track and compare those to the original CDs. That will tell you for sure whether the volume has been adjusted. There is probably a similar program for Windows.

Well I own the tracked Lovesexyy CD since the mid 90ies, that's nothing special at all.

But it's still a cool collection for new fans.
