Prince fan discussion: Will ACTA have any effect on Prince fans collecting unofficial music, watch YT videos etc. ? Hi fans,
please enlighten me on ACTA, will this initiative have an effect on us, our "Prince fandom"?
It is world wide, isn't is - not only happening in Europe??
Here today in Denmark we have several protest demonstrations in cities - people protesting against ACTA, these people against ACTA fear it will close sites like YouTube, WikiPedia etc.. will be a threat to freedom of speech..? And a lot of "common" people will be sued for copyrights infrigements?
I came to think of the "dancing baby" incident which happened a few years back, the Prince police (Prince's record company?) trying to control youtube and sue a mother - her video of her little baby - dancing to music and in their opinion violating the song "Let's Go Crazy", the song playing in the background....
The only thing I know about ACTA - it's about copyrights control.
What do you think, will this have any effect on Prince's - and any other artists - fan community
Is ACTA the end to most/ all bootlegging.. the end to watch videos free on YouTube etc..
in other words, do you think this is Prince's dream come true...
Discuss, what do you think (- I apologies if this is a silly or naive question - I am no "expert" in this subject). Prince 4Ever.

Of course not
Those places where bootlegs are shared are not traceble or they would've been closed already ages ago
As for ACTA , i don't think it's gonna happen there's too much protest against it The USA can't just force their crap on us europeans as they see fit
