does anybody knows if the version of If I Love U 2Nite contained in Tweakin' Volume 3 is an unreleased remix? I don't have Mayte's single CD (the one with all the remixes), but comparing the timings it seems that it doesn't match with any of them...

If so, I believe that has not been released officially.

that disc is from an early in house cd of the mayte album with different unreleased mixes

there is also a promo only 12" that had some different dance mixes i don't think were officially released. it's a plain white cover. i haven't played it since i got it as they were shite mixes that had little to do with prince

Great! It is exactly that version! I didn't recognized it at a first listening, because public encore has been cutted. I think this version has been taken from TV. Mayte lip-synched it during a TV appareance to promote her album. I didn't know about the 12" promo. Interesting.

yeah the promo only mixes seem to be UK(?) garage/jungle type mixes? i think they're ok, but nothing to do with Prince.

sounds about right. they were just shit. whislt i wasn't a fan of jungle, i liked the off thing and have the original 12" of the metalheads and goldie whatever the first track was, and a few other things like roni size, and this was just typical derivitive shit

The best version IMO is Prince's version. in which he is singing the vocals.

but i am interested in this un released mix. never herd it.
