There are numerous 'versions' on City Lights Vol.2. it's more than likely the studio version that's played.

Forgive me, some of this may be wrong but wasn't there an idea for a live album circa 1981 that was going to be titled The Second Coming as well as a concert film?

OK, glad that I got that right. Sometimes it is hard to keep track of all of his unreleased projects.

Keep in mind that there was also a planned movie of the same title. It was never released though and I don´t know whether it was finished. There were some stills of it here on the org ( black and white, with Susan Moonsie etc.).
