Camille + albums that never came out

i know the black album was pressed but never came out (until later).

But i'm more interested in the 'Camille' album. someone gave tracklisting before but does anyone know if this was given a record number thingy or if it was test pressed?

if not has anyone got an assembled bootleg of this album? from what it sounds from thr tracks i've heard - it sounds as if it would have been a really good album. WHat confuses me though was if you look at the SOTT credits, its credits housequake, u got the look, if i was your girlfriend, strange relationship with camille, but not all of these tracks were on the tracklisting were they?

also are there any other P albums that never came out like these?

except 'Dream Factory'

The Undertaker

It wasn't officially released as an album, but you can get a slightly different edition of this on video.

The Flash project (featuring Margie Cox) never saw the light of day as an album either.

Yes, since Prince was heavily involved as songwriter, producer and also played on those records.

Another project that definitely would have resulted in an officially released album was 'Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic', but Prince's involvement with the 'Batman' soundtrack put paid to that.

Thank you Boris.

Two 'Madhouse' albums, both called '24', remain unreleased. One is from 1988, the other from 1993-94.

'I'll Do Anything' might have made a half-decent Prince album since it would have featured stuff like a demo-sounding version of 'Empty Room' as well as 'I Can't Love U Anymore', one of Prince's most achingly beautiful ballads ever.

Strange Relationship is on the album, U Got The Look was AFTER Camille, and after Crystal Ball - the only track from SOTT NOT on CB.

No, we don't know what the tracklists were for these projects.

New Power Soul would've included a lot of the outtakes from the 'Exodus' sessions. Tracks like 'Mad', 'Super Hero', 'Slave (2 The System)', 'The Funky Design', 'Acknowledge Me', 'It Takes 3', 'Funky', 'Love, Thy Will Be Done' & 'Proud Mary'.

The Dawn was going to be the next album after 'Emancipation'. The only tracks confirmed to be on the album were 'Welcome 2 The Dawn', & 'The Most Beatiful Girl In The World (Mustang Mix 96)'. It was also rumored to be another triple album.

The only Tracks From the NPG's 'Peace' album to surface have been 'Peace', 'The Daisy Chain' & 'Northside'. It may also have included the b-sides 'Gamillah' & '2045: Radical Man', even though the latter track had already been attributed to 'Prince' on the Bamboozled soundtrack.

Not as far as I'm aware.
The only track by 'The Flesh' I've seen circulating
is 'U Gotta Shake Something', which wasn't actually
included on 'The Flesh' album (It was considered
for a one-off single though).

Throughout the years,I also heard about these unreleased albums (some of these might just be rumor)---

***'Heart'(1994/95)---this was said to be an acoustic blues album,or something like that.It was probably an early version of 'The Truth'? I remember reading about it in Diana Dawkin's Prince Family newsletter.

***'New World'(1994/95)---this was a techno album recorded in 1994/95.Mayte mentioned it in an interview.

***'The Second Coming'(1982)---in early 82,Prince was planning a "Live" album with recordings taken from the 'Controversy' tour.A documentary was filmed as well but the project was never finished.

***Sheila E.s third album (1988)---A bunch of songs were recorded for a planned third album by Sheila E. Songs include "Scarlet Pussy","Girl Power","The Ghetto","2 Nigs Watchin A Kung Fu Movie","Latino Barbie Doll",etc.

***Rejected Paisely Park albums---Paisley Park shut down in early 1994,which prevented the release of several albums. These albums include the Rosie Gaines 'Concrete Jungle' CD,and albums by newly-signed acts Belize and Tyler Collins.I also heard about a planned project by The Game Boyz.

Neli

There is also the original double-album version of Purple Rain, including the likes of God, Father's song, the extended version of Computer Blue and others...

There was also the shelved '89 Cat Glover album, containing the released single Catwoman and the outtake 9 Lives.

There was also meant to be an '89/'90 blues album wasn't there, I imagine containing Blues In C (If I Had A Harem). Anyone got any more info on that?
