WOW

this was my first Prince concert...

i was a little kid who was obsessed with Prince..

we got on line at 4am to get tickets (this was way back when people camped out for tickets)

i was 12.. my dad took me to the show.. we had the time of our lives....

i remember the radio station playing a bunch of Prince songs in the car ride to the show and getting so excited ....

i mean, its just one of those childhood memories i will just never forget...

i also remember Prince's motorcade coming thru the city...

and when Prince came out .. I screamed like a little girl!

i still remember it like it was yesterday....

wow...thank you so much for posting....... i will be hunting tonight...

brilliant stuff. we are being spoilt by bootlegs whilst prince gives us nothing new

Maybe he's working on something new, spoiled impatient brat.

It's been 3 years for U.S. fans since the last album, so how in the hell is that being impatient??? disbelief

wow! it's nice and crisp.

BTW Did anyone notice the similarity of the beat to WDC - very similar to 'It' - was he inspired to re-use the drum pattern?

I get your point but of course Prince is the one who made all this music that is getting bootlegged. I know i'm stating the obvious but he gets like 95% of the thanks here.

Bootlegs will always out number official releases unless he releases everything.

This NYC bootleg is fanastic. Nokia is great as well.

I really dig the little rap at the start of "Do Me Baby." It would be great if there was video to go with it.

Just heard that part, yeah it's so great. This whole recording sounds excellent!

I like getting to hear things in the mix that usually get burried in an audience

recording like keyboard parts, sound effects, and back-up vocals. Lisa's piano

on G&B. I don't know if I've ever picked that up before.

I am eternally greatful for stuff like this and thank you to the OP for pointing

out that it was out there. Amazing to think about how this recording has existed

all these years and we've never heard it until now. How many high quality recordings

that exist.

You know he recorded EVERYTHING. faint

Just saw this around, incomplete but very enjoyable for such an old recording.

If Prince had any sense he'd sell an untouched soundboard recording of a gig from 1999/Parade/SOTT/Lovesexy/TGE for $10 each month. I've listened to this one a dozen times already and all I keep thinking is "I want more recordings like this."

Man, I just keep playing this... Have played it almost every other day since this came out. That bit in "Girls & Boys", about 3 minutes into the song: killer.

Why isn't this boot getting hundreds of reactions? Surely a Parade-era soundboard deserves tons of praise, even if it is incomplete?
