What type of mic stand does/has Prince used?

@2020, I've always wondered the same thing, as I don't recall seeing any other musician using the kind of stand he does that allows the clip holding the mic to come off with such ease.

Don't know who makes his stands, but those quick-release adapters for Prince's mic clips are probably made by Atlas.

@luv4u, since you've been censoring things with an iron fist lately, can you at least keep a hint for us to know what is said? it sucks having to use my imagination

It's a Prince-used mic (judging by the wear and tear) which at one point was in the possession of the Hard Rock: http://memorabilia.hardrock.com/

Yep, squirrel grease got it right. That is the mic that is on display at a hardrock

That would be the wireless and gold plated version of the Sennheiser MD431. He used this type since the early eighties. First in the original black/silver version, later all silver or gold plated. This gun mic was the last one with this type. He started using Shure since 1993.
