Reflection on Wlcome2

Today I found myself reflecting on the Wlcome2 gigs and I seriously coudn't stop laughing for few hours. The reason why I decided to post it up here.

The things that made me laugh

1. What was Shelby on about during those "ho, ho, hoooooooo" chants and her dominance on stage? Those animating chants were utterly foolish, specially the flag she had nearly bouncing on my head, yes I was that close to that stage, and thought wtf during the gig?! I thought it was hilarious as a special effect.

2. The Cameroon dance. I remember I was like lol

3. Who is John? What was all that John about? lol

If I wasn't a fan, I'd have seriously though Prince needs a head check, but luckily I can laugh about it and still be a fan, which makes a great feeling.

Does anyone else have those lol moments?

Prince I will always miss and love U.

Glad you got to attend. We're still Waiting in Michigan. I so some of the feeds from the shows and Shelby seemed to be trying to hold onto her piece of the purple rock with Andy taking into the spotlight w/Prince.

John is John Blackwell. IMHO one of the best drummers Prince has hung managed to keep over the years.

Cameroon Dance.......I hope they dance alittle better than that, but it tickled Prince and itwas is show.

Prince's Sarah

Overall, music aside these shows were ridiculous to a point where U can only really laugh your butt off. As I said I found myself laughin cause I felt embarrassed of the memory today. If i wasn't a fan, I would question Prince credibility, more likely I would think he's a washed up singer.

My other memories of NPG and Prince concerts were different, and I surely didn't have to reflect on NPG members jumpin on stage like sumo fighters, or the Cameroon dance or was it the Kangeroo dance, that resembled to a duck dancel. lol

Ah yeah, and John of course, the alter ego of Prince (do we really know John exitsted?) and Andy holding the Guitar pretending to do anything. And what was all those drawings on Clipboard about? Jeez what a joy. lol

The more so, if U are very close to a stage, those images stick in your head.
