IF GOD WERE ONE OF US

One of the tryouts on The Voice, Katrina, an insurance worker choose to do a Prince song. Wasn't all that bad although a little lacking in the energy/emotion department, but Adam was the only one to hit his buzzer, so she's going on.

The song is not a Prince song, its a Joan Osbourn song!! She first had a hit with it in the latter half of the 90s(the actual year escapes me right now)!!

So true. I was at a 'trivia night' once and the question came up: Who wrote the song "Kiss". Of course I answered with the correct answer, only to be shocked that the host was adamant that it was a Tom Jones song first. I never got the point. "I'm sorry my friend, the card says Moops!".

People could simply say "One of Us" was written and originally performed by Joan Osbourn.

Instead we see:
