I am a big fan of ALL music in all of its forms.I was going through a bunch of 12 inches from the mid 70's -early 80's and something made itself known.Everyone who hadd 12inches released the songs were basically the lp version or an actual extended version of the song.with Let's Work however not only is the actual song extended the music is actually "remixed" or changed rather towards the end of the 12inch version(as we all know),but does this make Prince the 1st one to actualyl have a remixed single on the market?

the first 12"s released were disco 12"s in 1973. there was also a load of reggea 12"s long before prince had his first single out. and sexy dancer was the first prince extended mix on 12"

This was the 1st '12 if I'm not mistaken.

Most people that released 12 Inches were already doing that. Prince just followed suit.
