Definitely all played. If you check out the 1990 Nude Tour in Japan video, Prince actually plays the same solo on the piano, while Fink plays the synths. Pretty cool to hear and see. __________________________________________________

I just watched the clip from Nude...I don't know...it sounds pretty sequenced to me. Especially the end riff.
Prince DOES play a piano solo, and sort of incorporates parts of those runs in it.
I can't tell if Dr. Fink is actually playing that first main bit. The camera shot doesn't show his hands at all.
